how do i remove a door - escort van?

hi mark. if you have removed the 2 male torx [grub] screws on hinge pins then it should lift off, unless its been messed about with,i.e. has pin been welded in to eliminate excessive play?

thanks for your answer its very much appreciated but i have done all those steps but the door still wont lift off, yes it is the front door

remove large wiring grommet,then undo wiring connector,remove torx bolt securing check arm, then undo small torx grub screws on hinges [you can un-do with a small ring spanner] then lift off door. by the way, i take it you mean front door! also pins are eccentric giving a small ammount of adjustment.
