how do i remove the plastic window handle from a 1996 transit van?

how do i remove the plastic window winder from its spigot?
i want to remove the door trim to get to a faulty door speaker but this plastic handle does'nt seem to have any accessible fixing. It must pull or push off, but i dont want to snap it. Can you help? it's a 1996 transit 2.5 diesel semi hi top van.
