hard drive not working on a dg250dtra08?

can anybody help?? the hard drive is not working on my Digihome dg250dtra08, everything has been working fine had the product around 18 months so out of guarantee now. Is there anything i can do to restore the hard drive tried reformat etc all to no avail.

Same for mine: it says the DTR does not have a working hard drive.
and the fan went silencious since.
