Mend Maytag Atlantis Motor Shaft Good

motor shaft swap?

i have a maytag atlantis washer.the motor recently burn up.i found a used motor in good shape but its set up for a direct drive unit so the shaft is not long enough to install a pulley on.how can i swap this shaft with the proper one off the old motor?
