Mend Craftsman 791570 Weed Wacker

How do I replace the line on Craftsman weed wacker #791570?

I have the replacement pre wound spool but how do I get the old spool off the Craftsman weed wacker model #791570? The cap is on very tight, doesn't appear to have a screw to loosen it either.

Try some WD-40 on it. There is a thread that holds that spool part on, Just look at the new one. I have found that a lot of those kinds of power tools have reverse threads on them, so try both directions.
