mw512 stops and clunks?

hi all
my fisher and paykel mw512 has suddenly decided not to play fair anymore it will stop mid cycle and show error code 1 7 which ive found is error code 130? rotor position sensor
ive tried in vain to undo the plastic nut underneath the motor to access said sensor to "try and clean up or replace as necessary"

so can anyone here shed some light on which path i should now take
