fault coded on F & P MW512...lights 1 & 7 on display?
I have had this alarm code 3 times now and the first 2 were replaced by technician...now it is throwing it again after the warranty period. it won't spin and just keeps beeping...any suggestions?
in australia...yeah that sounds like what he did...he tested the motor and said that one of the multitude of coils was faulty...and "would I like to look for it?"....of course I said no...then he replace the motor in feb 2011 and the other thing...then he came back in March 2011 to replace the same thing cos he said it was faulty and he did mention about humidity affecting it...now it has gone again

Far out. Sounds like he doesn't know what he is doing. Was it Feb/March this year or last year. It would probably have been the RPS (Rotor Position Sensor) he replaced. This is an electronic device mounted on top of the motor which tells the control board what position the motor is in ready to start. With the correct knowledge & test meter he can test the RPS to see if it is working. He can do the same with the motor. No need to go replacing one part just because another part does not work. Get someone else & ask them to take a close look at the wiring plug which goes in to the RPS. This model often has green corrosion in there making a bad connection. The fault code you have now is error code 130 which is an RPS error fault. What country are you in?

left to right...I think it was the resistor or something like that....he had to replace the motor as well. last feb and march...cos the one he replaced was still not working...and now it is outside of warranty

Are you counting from left to right or right to left? Also, first two what where replaced by technician and how long ago?
