Mend Performance Power 460 Petrol Carb Float

performance power460 0512002603?

i can not get petrol into the engine , i have cleaned the carb , i can i have petrol in float bowl my main jet is clean , the only way i can get it to run is by putting fuel direct in to carb, their is no primer on this model, please help
