Mend Vauxhall Corsa Sxi 1.2 Change

timing chain and tensioner?

Can anyone please explain to me how to change the timing chain and tensioner on a 1.2 corsa sxi as the vauxhall garage want £600+ to change it. Surely, it can not be that difficult! Any help will be appreciated!

Hi Zoey, the time to replace the chain + tensioner is 4.5hrs, if you want to do the job yourself I suggest you get a "Haynes" type of manual £20 Halfords, Amazon etc or try your local library they will stock most manuals or can get them for you
