Mend Veritas R8 Security System Door

Veritas R8 wont set as saying zone 3 open but its not?

My veritas R8 panel is saying that zone 3 is open when I try to do a full set of the alarm even though the door is shut. its only just started doing it today.
Any help will be greatly received

the contact on the door will be faulty. short the two wires in the door contact that go to the silver screws. if the fault clears then this is your problem.
