ford fiesta fuel pump fuse?

common issue is pump failing blowing a fuse. its mostly either blocked fuel filter causing pump to draw excess current or pump itself is faulty causing fuse to blow immediately ro very shortly after running.
on mark 5 fiesta we have to drop tank to access ( ensure little fuel in tank) on later it can be accessed under seat squab.

i have a ford fiesta flight 02 plate 1300 engine, it keeps blowing the 10amp fuse to the fuel pump, any answers would be greatly appreciated

The fuel pump is accessed by removing the rear seat base, disconnect the plug and see if the fuse blows, if it does'nt then it is most likely the pump, depending on the year and engine size ( You don't say this vital bit of info!!) the pump is around £130+ as it can also be a combined unit that is the pump and quantity sender unit, hence the price!! It's an easy DIY job to replace
