fuel prob fiesta zetec?

ive got a R reg fiesta1.25 zetec i am not usen the car at the min an my cousin decided to take the fuel out ov it , he did this by taken the white fuel pipe off the side ov the injecter rack an crankin the engine over he filled half a canister an it stopped pumpin , now the car wont start at all an yes its got fuel in it , any ideas wot it could be as i think he as burnt the fuel pump out , any ideas where this is an anyway i can test it cheers
