Mend Parlux 3200 Compact Drier Problem Element

Parlux 3200 Compact hair drier?

My daughters drier has developed a problem with the heating element. The heater works fine on Medium heat with the fan on either speeds. When switching to the full heat control the elements come on for approximatley 10 seconds then go off. There is no break in the element circuit hence it does initially come on also when I switch back to medium heat the elements come back on.

Is it possible to replace the heating element on a Parlux 3200 and if so, where can I purchase one from?

i have 2 parlux hair driers
one wont switch off, l have to keep switching off by the plug socket . and the other one has an electrical problem
with the lead going off and on , l think it s because the lead is always tangled up .
can you tell me who can fix them l don't want to have to buy a new one.

99% of hair drier problems have the same cause - the filter at the back (ie air inlet) becomes clogged and the unit overheats, triggering a shutdown. You don't need to take the hair dryer apart, just clear the blockage using an old toothbrush, or similar.
