How to fix house alarm C&K Securitech after power cut?

Hi. Yesterday we had a local powercut and the house alarm went off even though it wasn't set. It won't accept code to reset it. All the lights are on the control pad and it makes a bip each time you type in a number but nothing happens. The alarm box outside is flashing. Any ideas on how to get it up and working again please?
