Mend Peugeot 406 Engine Cambelt

puegeot 406 16v 2ltr w'ont idle?

cambelt broke on old engine,too much wrong 2 repair,fitted good engine with new clutch and cambelt,drives lovely but will not idle,and somtimes cuts out at slow speeds,new engine fitted as complete unit ,only thing from old unit was starter,alt and steering pump,new engine was seen running, any help much appreciated!!

thanks,yes got old engine,I'll giveit a go,might as well swap over the whole ind manifold with all components on it eh??

hope you kept old engine coos need to swap some bits and check wiring bits to swap are IAC idle air control valve ,ISC idle speed control actuator also check wiring harness to ignition coils (they chaff near crankcase breather pipe )
