Mend Volkswagen MK3 Golf Electric Window Motor

is there an easy way to replace the electric window motor D/S/F. ?

The electric window doesn't work on my MK3 Golf o/s/f, i have changed the switch and all of the othe rwindows work. There is no sound from the motor when the switch is pressed so i know that it isn't a dropped window, what i need to know is i have purchased a new motor but is there any short cut / easy way / trade trick to change it?
