how can i fix my starlogic dvd 868V50?

i recently moved house and since ive resetup my dvd player its only working in black and white. the picture quality is perfect its just no longer in colour. ive tried every button on the remote, changing the scart and retuning the channel all to no avail. perhaps i knocked it when moving but i cant understand why it still works. i would appreciate any ideas, thanks.
