Mend Whirlpool LER5636EQ2 Motor Dryer Remove

Blower removal from motor for LER5636EQ2 Dryer?

I am trying to remove the blower wheel from the motor on the Whirlpool LER5636EQ2 dryer. I believe this threads on to the motor, but the wheel is extremely tight trying to turn in either direction. With this wheel being plastic, I am afraid of snapping the thing off. Any suggestions?
