Mend Bristan 1901 Hot Water Apart

bristan 1901 cartridge?

the gap for hot water is only 1mm. can the cartridge be taken apart, or is there some other magic way of solving the problem. it's 3 years old and in perfect (well except for problem) condition..seals...lime scale...etc..
