Mend Sears 917.372470 Mower Speed Diagram

Linkage setup for Sears Eager 1 model 917.372470?

Hi,

I am fixing my lawn mower. Cleaned carb and got it to run! Yeah.
My problem is the linkage is wrong, or maybe a part missing. I went to Sears.com but my model does not show the linkage diagram.
I can adjust the idle hign so I can cut grass, but the speed adjustment does nothing.
Can someone help me find the right setup and if I lost a part.

Go to http://www3.sears.com and enter your model number choose to view parts diagram. You will be able to view the entire engine and the assembly of them. Hope this helps.
