how can i find the scheme for my tv set?

i have a nikko tv set, model # ntv2900rs, year manufactured 1991, the problem is when i turn the tv on, the picture almost instantly is reduced between two large black bands to almost no picture ! i gathered this could be the picture tube is failing ! Also i am trying to find over the internet the scheme info. for this model, can you help ?
