I have a 2 year old RCA HDTV that was fine until I turned it off. When I went to turn it on again, it wouldn't power up. If I hold the button on the tv it wil blink once then blink 9 times consecutively,, then start the sequence again. This is only if I keep holding the button in, but it never powers up. Looking for any suggestions on what may be the problem. Thanks in advance.

I dont have a RCA but I have a SANYO which is prob. even crappier. I've only had the TV 14 months, when I hit the power button the green power light comes on clicks twice but TV doesnt power up, then it just keeps repeating the cycle. To make it so bad the phone# Sanyo listed on all there product info and website is a wrong number...WOW

I had that problem. I took it out of the plug for a minute (to reset it) and after that it was fine. Hope this helps.

Sorry to tell you this, but I have been searching this issue for days and have found that you, I and just about everyone who has ever bought a TV from RCA in the last couple years are having the same problem. This TV is a piece of crap and everyone who has experienced this with their TV should contact RCA, the BBC and whom ever will listen. I have found many forums where people are concidering filing a class action suit. RCA just doesn't seem to care.
