my caravan was damaged by a drivers mirror causing a small tear in the aluminium wall. how do i repair it

Try car body filler but keep eye on it as it moves the patch might open if it does then the ony solutiiong is to screw a small alluminium plate over the patch.
Apply external mastic to the back side of the plate then screw with self tap screws over the patch wipe off surplus mastic that squeezes out when you tighten the screws.
