While doing an oil dip I found a yellowish foam or thick liquid on my dip stick...what is it and how do get rid of it? My car is a K reg., Peugeot 106 (roland garos 1.4 )
jen, you can buy an engine flush witch you put into the engine then you run it until warm then you drain it off along with the engine oil then change the oil filter this if you have engine trouble is only to clean the engine not to cure the problem that caused it in the frist place. good luck

Hi the yellow liquid like custard is caused by water mixing with your oil, u may think water and oil don't mix, but under engine conditions they will. Most likely cause is your head gasket i'm afraid.
