Mend Craftsman 6.5hp Lawnmower Engine Repair

Starting cord stuck?

I bought new Craftsman 6.5hp lawnmower & started mowing my small lawn. Within 5 min engine stopped. And now I can't pull the start cord at all. I tried my best but it seems to be stalled. Please advise on how to fix the cord.
