I have been having a problem recently where when I used the key to open the drivers side door it would be very loose and not always open the doors. After several turns most times it would unlock and the windows would all wind down.
Now I cannot use the key to lock the door but I can use it to unlock the door. Is this something that any garage can fix or will I have to take this to a VW dealer or VW specialist to get fixed?
find a mobile auto locksmith he can repair original lock or to make cheaper take lock out yourself and take to a locksmiths who will repair it so still same key or goto scrapyard and buy a lock and key and fit yourself hope this helps
