Just replaced mine today.
1. remove the spark plug
2. remove the four screws on the bottom to reveal the clutch
3. stick a peice of rope into the spark plug hole, as you turn the clutch this will act as a piston stop so that you can unscrew the clutch. Use a hammer and screwdriver to tap on the bowtie peice of the clutch to help loosen it up.
4. remove the other four screws holding the body together in the center. This will allow you to pull it apart to reveal the recoil.
5.Remove the last to screws to release the recoil.
6.Replace the rope and wind the recoil before you put it back together.
