stihl chainsaw model 025, 18 inch cut wont start?

there are many reasons why it might not start. check to see if it is getting fuel by pulling it over a few times then remove the plug is it wet ? will it cough at all ?
do you have a spark take plug out lay it against engine and try pull start your mixshould be 50-1 nothing else pref with a good 2 stroke sthil or similar

try changing the fule for a fresh fule , get the mix right dont make it so strong , take out the spark plug and clean it or change it for a new one , clean the airfilter, use the choke to start it , and when the choke kicks is , knock the choke off and try start it , if you keep the choke on , after it kicks" you will flood it , if you think you have flood it , try pulling the cord 6 0r 7 times with the saw turned off , to dry off the spark plug , then try it with the choke on" till it kicks , then put it to start to try it , the trick is to master the choke, 3 0r 4 pull with the choke on , showld kick it in , you will feel the differance when the chock kicks in , that will be the easy one, and you will hear it kicking in , then knock the choke off and try it,,
