where will i find a new automatic gearbox for a megane ?

i just bought a renault megane 2001 1.6 petrol second hand for £1800, after 100 miles my gearbox broke and now am looking for a new one, does anyone know where i would find one?

ring round scrapyards or look on ebay for 1 (have you had an auto gearbox specialist look at it an give you a price ) might be cheaper auto boxs not easy to find and fit
