the rear spring on my wifes ford ka has broken, and i am looking at replacing it myself. i want to know is it as straight forward as
1. jack the car up.
2. support the axle.
3. place a trolley jack under the damper.
4. undo the bottom retaining bolt.
5. slide everything out from the bottom.
6. put on new spring.
7. refit in the reverse order.
yes thats about it. got to take weight off it while bottom shocker bolt removed, (to get bolt out) then let jack down slowly to remove spring. damn road humps.....
