oh dear. they dont take to kindly to this. seen it loads of times. basically if engine doesnt spin over when you try to start you need to remove air filter and glow plugs then spin over engine to remove water. then re try. but what usually happens is the con rods bend and valves bend. due to water trying to be compressed. timing could even have jumped. a compression test usually shows up engine damage. i would say most likely a new engine is required unless you are very lucky.
