my new candy oven keeps switching off?

I have a new candy electric oven and hob. The dial on the front panel seems faulty as it requires me to adjust it before the light comes on and the red thermostat light comes on. Sometimes it goes on after I adjust it a couple of tmes for it then to go off on its own. Seems like a faulty connection on the front panel dial/switch but cant get the panel off. Electrics all checked and functioning
