Need to replace fan oven thermostat assy as it appears to have been made faulty when element went earthy and blew out. Or is there another protection device in this circuit? Want step by step instructions on how to facilitate change - element already replaced.Would also like to know where to get a repair manual
when you turn the thermostat does it click in and out?.does the neon come on?.if no neon comes on then remove the panel where you connect the 6mm cable at the back and check all connections are tight (switch off first).if they are ok remove the whole back panel and attached at the back of the oven cavity is a safety cutout stat.should be normally closed if ok.try these ideas and let me know how you get on.
