Mend Matsui MWM145W Washing Machine Pump Hoses

please help?

i have a matsui mwm145w , during ANY time during a cycle the machine will just stop , this is either beginning or end or middle sometimes wont start programme at all. i have cleaned the pump and all hoses ..... do you think this is the brushes need replacing .when it stops the start/pause button flashes and the top button with the play sigh flashes.
