Mend Flymo maxitrim 430

My flymo maxitrim 430 won't run?

The unit fires and splutters into life on full choke but soon dies. It wont run when the choke is released as recomended. I think it sounds like a fuel shortage any advice?

Thanks but there is no float in this carb just a metering diaphragm and needle valve. The diaphragm seems ok and the needle valve seems to be free.

The carb. float is not allowing fuel through. Remove the float bowl and free the float and needle valve.
