how do you get the front panel off?

the agitator belt broke and i need to get the front panel off of thiis ge washer

Hello,

Assuming you have a GE that was made after 1995, just use a putty knife to push in on the clips between the front and top panel. The clips are toward the end of the panels. Once the front panel is removed you can access the belt.
