I have a classics six and it is less than a year old. Once I start the wash cycle it takes in water then immediately evacuates the water. I have to keep stopping it until it finally starts a cycle. At times it will keep beeping after just a few turns... Can you help please?

Thank you. Couldn't fix the problem without a handbook. Your advice to keep my finger on the Start Button to release the Child Lock worked immediately.

Apparantly the key and flashing = child lock.
To get rid of this - close washing machine door, turn to normal setting, press the power switch and keep pressing for several seconds. The symbol should disappear and the beeping should stop.
