Cycle time on Miele Dishwasher?

We have a Miele slimline dishwasher which developed a fault. After EIGHT separate visits we were told that the fault had now definitely been resolved. However, I just noticed on running the automatic cycle of 1hr 52 that it went down to 1hr 46 and then for some reason back to 1hr 52?! Is this a feature of the automatic cycle does anybody know or should I expect a Ninth visit?

Yes, this is normal. In the manual, it lists the time as variable. The dishwasher adjusts the settings according to what it thinks it needs to clean the dishes properly - which I guess is the crud it finds coming off the plates, or whatever.
