My De Dietrich oven keeps tripping. Each time I called the service staff, he comes and heat up the oven for 1 hr and his advice is to do regular maintenance by do the 'self-cleaning' function for 1 hr every 2 weeks. I paid $90 each time and it was I think $50 when I first called!! I can't remember the cost. I did the regular self-cleaning as well as use the oven to bake weekly using the fan function. Once I changed the function to 'top/bottom' bake instead of fan, it tripped again.
I am reluctant to call for the De Dietrich to fix as it seems the quality of oven is in question. What do I do? Get rid of the oven and buy a new one? If new one oven, which oven has good quality to be use in Singapore.
