My Janome 5700 slowed right down and barely moves. ?

Hello Tara,
Before buying a new motor eliminate all other possibilities, make sure the machine is well oiled and not seizing anywhere, make sure you do not have anything caught in the raceway area that might slow the machine down, if you have to replace the motor it will be difficult getting hold of one and you can replace it yourself unless you have a two part body machine that is difficult to get apart.,
