Mend Zanussi TCE 7276W Dryer Motor Fault

Zanussi Dryer, no warning lights, won't start?

Hi I have a condensor dryer TCE 7276W

There are no red warning lights on and all three green lights are on and steady for Drying, Cooling and End with the dial selected to a programme, off when programme not selected.

With a programme selected the display correctly displays the expected time and the green light for Start/Pause is flashing.

When the orange start button is pressed nothing happens! No motor sound, clicks or anything. Any ideas please?

the button press behind the start button you press has broken.this is a very common issue.the part is called a diffuser and is less than a tenner.you will need to remove the whole front control panel and pcb's to fit the new part
