Mend Fiat Punto Working Fine Noise

frontwindscreenwipesnotworkinfiatpunto1998?

the front windscreen wipers not working. the back one was a bit faulty at first. didn't always come on. now the back one is fine and the front ones wont come on at all. I can hear a noise like the motor is working but no movement. the car has been stationary for 13 months. They stopped working in the last 4.
