My Gardenline chain saw, GPCS 42cc doesn't run when it gets hot. Have cleaned air filter, fuel filter, changed plug and cleaned flywheel area. Any ideas appreciated.
So if I buy a Stilh or Husky which is the best machine and model to buy for sawing logs 12" diameter?

Frying pan and fire spring to mind, buy somthing with a good name, Husqvarna, Stihl, Jonsered, the mass trade only sell poor quaility machines, try the local garden machinery shop.

Pretty certain that the mixture is ok as plug perfect colour. Think i have read somewhere that these saws can have electrical problems. If it cant be fixed easily maybe I'll take advantage of our local B & Q 20% off offer this weekend and buy another saw.

If you are sure fuel is not too rich when hot then-- must be electrical breakdown when hot I assume there is no thermal automatic cut out?
