about a ford galaxy?

my ford galaxy keeps cutting out and the engine keeps chasing and the light go dim then bright and then dim continusly when i come to a stop aa had just reprogramed the computers and it was ok but i had to take the battery of to check my suspention and it has gone back to how it was to start of with

can u help me please is there any way i can programe it my self
