Mend Gala Cistern Water Slow

cistern takes ages to fill?

My gala cistern usualy takes about 10 seconds to fill but is now taking arround 6 mins to fill, any ideas please.

turn of the water to the cistern, remove the lid and undo the float valve it sounds like ther are bits blocking the inside of the valve clean it up and put it back . . rember how to put it back together agen wen you tack it apart . . not very good at explaining things but hope it helps.
