Mend Indesit K 642 VS/XG Oven Electric Cooker Repair

How can I fix my Electric ventilated oven Indesit K 642 VS/XG?

I have unscrewed the element to replace it but can't get it off, it seems to be still attatched by a screw/ lug in the centre of the fixing plate. Does anyone know what this is and how to undo it?
