have you found the main fuse where the cooker hood wiring goes to?.not the consumer unit fuse.Was it 13amp fuse by any chance?.If so when bulbs fail it can blow the switch pcb due to the fact it should only have a 3amp fuse in.So many fitters fit incorrect fuse and cause this type of issue!!
