Mend Whirlpool Estate Taking 2 Dry

my dryer is getting hot but is taking a good 2 to 3 hours to dry?

I have a Whirlpool Estate dryer that is heating just fine and is spinning but it is taking a good 2 to 3 hours to dry a regular load. Can you help!!!

Hello,

Disconnect the exhaust vent from the back of the dryer and try drying a load that way. If its ok then you have to clean out your vent.
