JVC television color ?

I have a JVC television that now displays a green haze over the top of the screen on all channels and stations. Can it be fixed ? I was told that the tv will resume back to normal after a while but after 2 weeks of having the same problem im not so convinced . Is there anything i can do to fix it ?
