Mend Black and Decker Repair

Black and Decker jigsaw stopped working and smelt of burning?

Is this something that is common to this tool and can I repair it?

its most likely the motor burnt out (cheap make low wattage motor ) they dont take a lot of punishment in future if using a lot buy a higher wattage motor in jigsaw so doesnt have to work as hard to do the job therefore motor lasting longer
